This Highland malt was hand selected and bottled by the Glenmorangie distillery manager. Distilled on the 16th November 1987 in ex-bourbon casks and bottled on the 18th May 2001 only 788 bottles were ever produced. We have 2 bottles available. One is numbered 213 and the other is strangely un-numbered. Please specify which one you would like. World Renowned Master Blenders Tasting Notes: Nose: ‘Rough', fresh, fruity. Brought to mind fruit skins and almondy cherry pits. Palate: Big, smooth, fruity, earthy. Becoming marshmallow-like and malty. Finish: Sandalwood, walnut, salt … all the Glenmorangie flavours come powering through. Comment: Very port-tasting and curiously unrefined. Having robust tastes in food and drink, I loved it.
