On the 29th May 2010 a fundraiser for the Search & Rescue held a dinner in Elgin, Scotland. To commemorate this event he arranged for a small number of 21 year old Speyside bottles of Single Malt Scotch to be flown on a Search & Rescue helicopter and signed by the captain and co pilot.
This flight took place on the 27th May 2010 and the bottles were either gifted to dignitaries, including members of the Royal Family, or auctioned at the evening.
This bottle was the first from the flight to be signed and auctioned on the night and raised thousands of pounds for the charity.
