Balbair 24 year old limited edition single malt. 46%vol 70 cl. 1 of 3150 bottles.
This now rare and discontinued bottling is much sought after.
Bottled in 1979 it comes in it's original box in perfect condition.
Bourbon cask. Rich golden and honey coloured.
The nose is of medium to high intensity, spice and hot vanilla toffee.
The palate is smooth and slightly fruity.
On first taste it hints of bitter dark chocolate and then finishes pleasant and sweet with a mixture of cereals and some exuberant tastes which make for fireworks in the mouth.
Great value for a special occasion or for quiet after dinner fireside relaxation.
Comes in original packaging in good order.
