Founded in 1790 the Balblair distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland lying in the Northern Highland whisky producing region.
This extremely old rare whisky has a light fresh nose with a hint of Autumn mist, vanilla and soft fruit.
It has the appearance of rich golden honey.
It has a sweet and citrus taste, is satisfyingly smooth and slides down the back of the tongueIt won the Gold Medal at the 2006 International Spirits challenge.
It is rare and much sought after and does not often come on the market.
Good buy for a special occasion or to hold as an investment.
