Tomatin 30 year old single malt. Distilled 22/11/76. Bourbon and finished for 3 years in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled 22/10/07 from 1500. 49.3%vol. 70 Cl. One of the great classic highland whiskies. To keep for the long term or to drink with deep pleasure and keep you company on a long dark winter's night.

General Tasting notes from online sources; A rich autumn sunrise. Initially a spicy aroma, then big heavy fruits, lovely sweet sherry emanating from the edges. Silky smooth, light smokiness balanced with sweet golden syrup. The flavours swirl around your mouth, like a mini tornado bombarding your senses. Fresh acorns to fully mature oak, fresh oak to light tannins. This whisky has everything to offer. The balance is quite sublime for such an old whisky.

One of the world's best ever whiskies!!!!!

This bottle was given as a gift to the employees of The Edrington Group in 2011 and very few have found their way onto the open market. There were 3250 bottles produced and we guess that less than 500 are still in existence with fewer than 20 of these available to purchase. The bottle includes both the presentation case and cork in perfect condition and the personally signed letter given to the employee at the time.
