A very limited edition Glenmorangie, matured for 14 years in a cask that previous held Cognac Nose: Full of Cognac fragrance, light sweetness . Fresh Apples and Scottish tablet (fudge). The usual Glenmorangie deepness with some almonds and ‘tart’ apples. Taste: More apples however not sweet ‘golden delicious’ but more ‘granny smith’ in a pie. Nuts and Christmas warmth follows with a deep longing for more. Finish: Nuts and marzipan with a full appreciation of one of the finest whiskies.
