Glenmorangie Claret Wood Finish Highland Malt Scotch Whisky This special limited edition malt whisky is one of the most outstanding expressions of Glenmorangie ever produced. In 1989, the masters at Glenmorangie hand selected 8 casks of Vintage Glenmorangie which had been laid down to mature in American White Oak Barrels. The Vintage years were between 1976 and 1979. They then transferred this Glenmorangie into casks which previously contained one of the great First Grown Clarets from Pauillax, Bordeaux. The result is as one might expect - a marriage of two of the worlds most distinguished creations.
