Details
Mortlach 11 year old Speyside single malt whisky by Douglas Laing.
In rare ceramic flask bottle in wooden presentation case. One on 776 hand filled flasks.
A great unusual whisky at a great price.
Nose: Tobacco, dried fruit, dusty cupboard
Palate: The typical meaty Mortach taste, rather dry and slightly spicy
Finish: Long and dry, a bit of smoke
Overall: The palate is very dense in a way that I find it very hard to identify distinctive notes. This means it is a very typical and very fine Mortlach.
