This is a super rare 44 year old Linkwood
Distilled in 1938 which makes this a pre-war whisky.
Although we have not tasted this ourselves this is what the masters at the distillery say:
A rich aromatic nose, with almonds, raisins and Festive spices, which mingle with hints of rich dark brown sugar and Sherry.
The palate is rich, rounded and smooth, with pronounced Christmas cake flavours, treacle and hints of almonds.
