Jameson's was established in 1780 in Dublin by a Scottish lawyer John Jameson, who had married one of the Haig Scotch whisky family. Jameson is now distilled at the Midleton distillery in Cork and is the best selling Irish whiskey in the world. We do not usually have any Irish Whiskies in our collection however occasionally a special one 'pops' up. This 12 year old special reserve was only available to purchase at the distillery and has since been discontinued. This is a very rare bottling and we only have one in our collection. If you search online you will see that it is not available anywhere else and empty bottles have come up on 'eBay' as collectors items.
