In 1990 the City of Glasgow was awarded the prestige of being the European City of Culture. To commemorate this, Master Blenders and Bottlers Douglas Laing & Co issued a limited edition Premium Reserve Scotch Blend in a magnificent porcelain decanter. This decanter has a depiction of Glasgow’s buildings with the associated buildings named in a bright gold print. The decanter comes sealed with a security band over the top and a separate porcelain cork stopper for use when opened. These decanters are very much collectors pieces and are increasing in rarity and value. We are fortunate enough to have 2 of these decanters in our collection and are both being presented here as one package. One of the decanters is complete, sealed with its intended Premium Reserve contents and separate stopper. The second decanter is empty of its contents and does not have the stopper.
