Limited Edition and now very hard to find this is one of the best whiskies ever to come out of the Glenlivet Distillery.

This is a vert hard to find and rare bottle from the 1970s. This bottle was distilled at the Ledaig Distillery on the Isle of Mull by Ledaig Distillers (Tobermory) Ltd.

Gordon and Macphail Tasting Notes Undiluted Nose: Sherried and dried fruits - figs and dates. Hint of cereal, malty aroma. Palate: Full - oily and smoky, herbal with floral notes. A sweet, rounding fruitiness - sherry and ripe fruits. Touch of dark chocolate. Diluted Nose: Gorse and bracken, oiled wood and sweet aromas. Traces of camphor and phenolic notes. Palate: Smoky - charred oak, Christmas cake and baked fruit flavours, drying.

Distilled: 1977 Bottled: 2003 Natural Strength: 45.2% Contents: 70cl Undiluted!

This is a much sought after Batch 1 limited release Bowmore Tempest. Bowmore have now released 5 batches and these bottles are becoming a rare treat.
