CLAN CAMPBELL 15 YEAR OLD SINGLE CASK BLENDED WHISKY. This is a very unusual and rare bottle. It is a single cask blended whisky aged in a sherry cask for 15 years and bottled in 1982. It would seem to be a Special Edition limited to one cask and set aside by the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell for distribution to close friends. Never having come across such a bottle before our whisky taster is not in a position to comment on the Nose or palate but from the rich deep honey colour and the origins in Aberdour single malt and choice grain whiskies it should prove to be something very special. The fact that it has no % vol.or capacity on the label confirms that it is a "Private" bottling however it seems to be 70 Cl. In lovely classic bottle with gold and black label and black wooded presentation box this makes a great purchase for the connoisseur.
